GlowStreet in Claude

The Glowstreet connector lets Claude look up glow spots for the current season on the GlowStreet map. Glow spots are decorated houses and displays that people chose to add to GlowStreet. Ask Claude in plain words and it shows a map card with the glow spots it found.

Add GlowStreet to Claude

1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
2. Choose Browse connectors and search for Glowstreet.
3. Select Glowstreet and choose Connect. There is no GlowStreet account to sign in to.
4. In a new chat, ask about glow spots near a suburb or postcode.

If Glowstreet is not in the list yet, add it as a custom connector with this URL, if your Claude plan allows custom connectors:

What it can and cannot do

• It covers Australia and New Zealand only.
• It is read-only. It cannot add, rate, verify or remove a glow spot. Use the GlowStreet map or app for that.
• It shows glow spots for the current season only.
• A new glow spot shows the street and suburb only, about 100 metres from the real spot. A levelled-up glow spot can show the address the public map already shows.
• Searches are by suburb, postcode or area, not by street address or coordinates.
• GlowStreet only receives the lookup Claude sends, such as a suburb and radius. What you type and the answers you get are handled by your assistant's provider under its own privacy policy. The connector never shares account details, emails, or who rated or reported a glow spot. See section 11 of the Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

• No glow spots found. Try a nearby suburb, a postcode or a larger radius, such as "within 10 km". Some areas have no glow spots yet.
• Claude did not use Glowstreet. Check the connector is turned on for the chat, then mention Glowstreet in your question.
• The map card does not show. Claude still lists the glow spots in its reply. Open the "Open in Glowstreet" link to see them on the full map.
• "Too many requests". Wait a minute and try again.
